RBC, 21.12.2005, Chisinau 13:20:35.Moldova expects to receive Russian gas at a price no higher than $110-$120 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2006, a source at the Russian-Moldovan Moldovagaz told RBC today. This price is logical, because next year's gas price for Armenia and Georgia is $110 per 1,000 cubic meters, the source claimed. Moldova hopes that when setting the price, Russia will take into consideration the fact that Gazprom owns a controlling stake in Moldovagaz.

nbsp;      Moldovagaz and Gazprom have agreed on a supply volume of 1.6bn cubic meters (excluding Transnistria). The Moldovan government, on its part, does not plan to increase the Russian gas transit fee, which currently stands at $2.5 per 1,000 cubic meters for every 100 kilometers. The price issue will be discussed in Moscow on December 22.
