Transdniestrian region stops picketing check points on the border with Ukraine and plans to start preparing a referendum on independence.

Such decision was made during the meeting of Antiblockade coordinating council in Tiraspol.
?Pickets have made their work ?? the blockade has attracted attention of world community, citizens of neighbouring countries, representatives of international organizations. Now we will change methods of fight against economic blockade, introduced by Ukraine and Moldova, noted Valerian Tulgara, chairman of the Antiblockade committee.

According to him, the committee will organize meetings of Moldavian, Russian, Ukrainian and other communities in Transdniester, during which the referendum on independence of Transdniestrian Republic will be discussed. ?In the process of the meeting it is expected to work out new ways of fight against economic blockade. One of these methods is active work with Mass Medias, said Tulgara.
