Consumer rights watchdog Rosptorebnadzor has suspended talks with Moldova on its access to the Russian alcohol market, its head Gennady Onishchenko told Interfax on Monday. "As the Moldovan side failed to carry out the understandings reached during the recent Moscow meeting of the leadership of Rospotrebnadzor with the first deputy prime minister of Moldova we have suspended contacts on the issue," he said. "At the same time I want to say that the current talks with [the breakaway republics] of Transdniestria and Abkhazia on the possible access of their wines to the Russia market seem more promising," he said. ml www.interfax.ru
