Transnistria's largest companies have resumed exports via Moldova's customs offices after they obtained temporary registration documents from Moldova, Yelena Chernenko, Economy Minister of the breakaway republic of Transnistria, said in Tiraspol. She elaborated that around 110 Transnistrian companies had been already registered with Moldova's State Registration Chamber, of which 30 to 40 companies are Transnistria's main exporters accounting for around 90 percent of all Transnistrian exports.

Chernenko also stressed that Transnistrian enterprises were forced into temporary registration in Moldova, as there was no way out for them until the situation in Ukraine had stabilized. She added that in their talks with Russia's representatives, Chisinau officials confirmed their intention to maintain the existing registration terms for Transnistrian exports for the foreseeable future.
