MOSCOW, June 2 (RIA Novosti) - Experts from Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE are through with considering a package of documents regulating practical activities to exercise control over armaments and measures of confidence in Moldova and Transdniestria, compiled by the OSCE mission in Moldova, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
It issued a relevant report today following a Vienna meeting of spokesmen for the intermediaries from Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE in the Transdniestrian settlement.
"The draft documents coordinated by the intermediaries take into account Europe's experience in security and confidence measures cooperation and therefore enable the sides in the settlement to approach this important theme as part of political talks. The intermediaries are to determine in the near future the form of presenting these materials to representatives of Chisinau and Tiraspol," the ministry said.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the spokesmen for the intermediaries notified Slovenia's ambassador Janez Lenarcic heading the OSCE Permanent Council about the current efforts to overcome the crisis which erupted last summer in the work over a comprehensive and stable model of Transdniestria settlement as well as discussed with him potential projects of international cooperation to promote the settlement issue.
