The Association of Banks of Transdniestria states that the administration of the Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin supports financially the opposition? in the elections that will be held in this region in December.
According to the International Monitoring Bureau, Grigori Diacenco, chairman of Transdniestrias Association of Banks, possesses documents confirming that the official Chisinau finances the Transdniestrian opposition.

The cited source says that there was created a special fund for the Transdniestrian opposition and the author of this project is Voronins adviser, Marc Tcaciuc?. The association says presidents economic adviser Oleg Reidman and the son of the head of state Oleg Voronin are also involved in this.

Diacenco claims that measures are being taken at the moment to collect financial resources in the fund. Namely because of this the manager of SA Victoriabank?, Victor Turcanu, who refused to provide financial support for some political organizations, was arrested.

Some time ago, Vladimir Voronin said during a TV program on NIT station that there is no opposition political force in Transdniestria which Chisinau would support. Chisinau will support a Transdniestrian political force or party only if the elections in this region are organized and monitored by the international community under OSCE mandate,? Vladimir Voronin said.

Parliamentary elections will take place in Tiraspol in December currently. Observers from CIS and CIS-2 have been invited to monitor the elections and legalize them. The OSCE declared right from the start that the December elections would not be monitored and recognized by the international community. // Reporter.MD
