VILYUCHINSK, the Kamchatka region. (Interfax) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said his country's peacekeepers will not leave the self-proclaimed republic of Transdniestria until Russia withdraws its property from the region.
"In any case, our troops will not be withdrawn until everything the Russian Federation has in that region is returned to the territory of Russia," Ivanov told journalists on Friday.
